Shari Kavalin

My name is Shari Kavalin and I am a “Destination Experience” Travel Agent.
It’s not just “where” you want to go, it’s “why” you want to go there.  At Your Smart Vacation,
we plan land-based vacations, cruises, and all-inclusive travel to worldwide destinations.
We specialize in destination driven planning for individuals and groups; girlfriend getaways, meetings,
bridal party and multi-generational gatherings, reunions of all types; almost any facet of travel where people come
together to make memories!  Elegant Escapes is a very specialized part of our business, featuring
emphasis on weddings, honeymoons, vow renewal or simply private romantic getaways!

I am passionate about special interest travel, to include wine, golf, dance or many other hobbies, and frequently have group
cruises already in place.  Remember, you can take advantage of the group prices and perks even if you are not a part of that group! 

My firm offers a complete spectrum of travel planning services.  Working with you to establish what
would make your vacation an ideal experience helps us to determine where you want to go.

 Then, leave the intricate planning to a professional who will be there for you before you leave, during your trip,
and when you return.  You remain part of the planning process, while we do all the "heavy lifting";
hours of research hunting out the best deals in the hidden locations to give you the best possible vacation experience on earth!

I am a full time travel agent, and that means ANY time.  If I am awake, I will answer your call or email; seven days a week.
I work with two of North America’s largest travel consortiums, giving me access to the latest technology and
the best negotiated deals on the market.  I guarantee I can meet or beat nearly every internet deal, and exceed
their service many times over. Remember, I am compensated by the travel providers, so it doesn't cost you to use me,
but in this fast changing travel landscape, it frequently pays!  Remember, the best “price” is not always the best “deal”!
And it's always good to have someone on call who you can count on!

The cruise was excellent, truly the best ship we both had been on, which is 18 cruises between us. The ship was beautifully decorated, with many areas that were quite special such as the wine bar and the specialty restaurants. We ate at Murano, which was a French style restaurant, and well worth the $35 per person extra charge. Most ships are clean and the crews polite, but this ship and crew seemed particularly great. The main dining room was the most comfortable we have ever experienced, ie. the table, seating, and the decor was the finest. I particularly liked the Oceanview Bar outside of the buffet; seating was on the aft of the ship, outside; they had two such bars...one above the other. The solarium, the adult under-cover pool area was very nice.They had some different seating that was unusual and very comfortable for two people. All the food was excellent, and the selection was one of the best we've experienced; best wine list I've seen. The room was perfect with the veranda being larger than what we've experienced on RCCL. We ate breakfast each morning there from room service.

All in all, absolutely no complaints with the ship, and with the exception of Grand Cayman, which is a bit over touristy, the other ports were very nice. Thank you for all your effort in making the entire experience wonderful. We wish you a very nice trip to Italy.

My Travel Professional, Shari, took care of all the details.  I basically told her where I wanted to go, when and my budget.  She got me accommodations at a fabulous property, upgrades and more upgrades, and made sure that my transportation to and from the resort was included and handled prior to departure.  All I had to do was show up....I would never try to book a trip on my own...why should I?  I have a travel professional that handles it all!!

Everything was top shelf; from service to the food. There are 6 restaurants on property. Our view from the beach was heaven. Our room was gorgeous. Even the complimentary toiletries were exquisite. Thank You!!

Hi Shari,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for helping my husband and I to go on our first cruise to Nassau. Despite his fear of cruises and the water, he got brave and did it. He really enjoyed the cruise. We did not get sea sick one minute; we had a lot of fun. The ship Carnival Sensation was awesome; everything from beginning to end was very organized. Thanks for helping us to prepare, when we boarded the ship, everything went seamless. Even though because of last minute planning we had to drive from Coconut Creek to Port Carnival, but it was well worth the drive. We had a blast. I know this was last minute planning and I was such a pain, but it turned out to be a great vacation. I have told all my family and friends how helpful and patient you were with helping us to plan. We enjoyed our 3 day cruise and looking forward soon to go on another one. Thanks again, talk to you soon.
